Best Movie Location 2011 | Inspired Ground

In my early days of blogging about movies, I used to post movie scenes with beautiful scenery. As the blog grows, that posts were forgotten. Now instead of putting one movie scenes in one post, I want to collect all 2011 movies with the best location. Check it out :

Midnight In Paris (2011) ~ Paris

The known New York lover director, Woody Allen, have taken a new city interest in his current movie, Midnight in Paris. The movie opens with some views of the city and the leading role played by Owen Wilson is fascinated by Paris, saying that ‘walking in the rain in Paris’ is great enough. Plenty of great places of Paris were exposed in the movie; museums, parks, hotel, restaurants and bridges. To know more about each places please check this page.

Certified Copy (2010) ~ Tuscany, Italy

The plot of Certified Copy is about a statue shop owner shows around an author around Tuscany, Italy. They visit landmarks, fountain, museums and restaurant while having deep conversations. They met tourists and wedding couples. Their philosophical conversations felt more mind blowing with beautiful Tuscany shot in the background.

Jane Eyre (2011) ~ England, UK

This Cary Fukunaga dark version of Jane Eyre was shot in different places in UK. Using castle that in the movie belongs to Rochester, Jane Eyre’s love interest, the view could turn into thrilling dark views and then in a different scene, where Jane and Rochester having their meetings the trees and flowers blossoming as if it were framing their existence.

Friends With Benefits (2011) ~ New York

Will Gluck, the director, intentionally wanted to make a romantic comedy of modern era. And so, Friend With Benefits were shot in some of the most beautiful spot in New York. My favorite scene is when they went to Times Square spotted a group of people doing flash mob. Hip apartments, gadgets, park views and restaurants were among the places they used.

Melancholia (2011) ~ Halland, Sweden

The filming location of Melancholia is divided into exteriors and interiors. The exteriors were shot in Tjolöholm Castle in Halland, Sweden. While interiors were shot in Film i Väst’s studios in Trollhättan, Sweden. Melancholia’s visuals were often praised by movie lovers although the topic isn’t as beautiful.

Arisan! 2 (2011) ~ Lombok, Indonesia

Mei mei, the leading character of the movie took her vacation in Lombok, practicing yoga and soothe her mind. I couldn’t help but bring my own country in this post, since Arisan! 2 shot their movie in Gili, Lombok. Lombok is one of the places in the country where you could find white sands and clear blue beaches, with sunny sky. Since I am a fan of beaches, watching them made me immediately want to jump to the beaches.

Tendangan Dari Langit (2011) ~ Bromo, East Java, Indonesia

Another from Indonesia, is Tendangan Dari Langit filming location in Bromo, East Java. Originally the story is about a talented soccer player from the city often rehearse near the mountains of Bromo. There was one scene where he rehearse with his father that have the best view to me (2nd image).
