Django Unchained might not be the best of Quentin Tarantino for some people. To me, like Inglorious Basterd (2009), it was entertaining and too violent at some parts. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like the movie. I personally loved the soundtrack, who used variety genres but quite heavy on Spagetti Western soundtrack (oh yes, I am new to the term and have to look up the meaning). Overall, the soundtrack feels soulful, stylish and classy. It suits the movie’s revenge and western atmosphere. I loved it because it felt authentic and in style. Furthermore, I think you should listen it to yourself. My favorite is the first song :
Freedom – Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton
His Name Is King – Luis Bacalov
Too Old to Die Young – Brother Dege
Django (Main Theme) – Rocky Roberts & Luis Bacalov

Freedom is a good track, I agree. Also love that main theme. There is a lot of variety on soundtrack, my favorites are by Jim Croce and John Legend

Yeah, Jim Croce and John Legend tracks are good. Thanks, Chris
I’m a big fan of the film. Love it. One of my favourites from Tarantino. The soundtrack is just excellent. Find it less schizophrenic than Kill Bill and is an excellent listen.
Haven’t seen much from Tarantino. But I understand why people love his movies. Sure is excellent. Thanks, Jaina
Great choices! Freedom and Too old to Die Young are my two favorites from the soundtrack.

Thanks, Sati!
Nice write up! John Legend’s “Who Did That To You?” steals the show for me here. That is a fantastic track. “Freedom” and “100 Black Coffins” were excellent as well. Really dig QT’s tunes.
