I’m Not There (2007) is a movie biopic directed by Todd Haynes, inspired by the famous American musician, singer and writer, Bob Dylan. The icon was represented by six different actors; Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger, Richard Gere, Marcus Carl Franklin and Ben Whishaw. Each tells different layers of characters of him, each with different names. The movie used non-narrative story and sometimes used black and whites, particularly on Jude Quinn’s character (Cate Blanchett) and Arthur Rimbaud (Ben Whishaw). Continue reading
